The visiting professor Joachim B. Kieferle is full professor for digital design and fabrication at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Wiesbaden - Germany. Together with Dr. Uwe Woessner, head of visualization at the High-Performance Computing Center, HLR|S, Stuttgart - Germany, they have been working on VR visualization and simulation to support the planning process in the AEC industry.
Their research has been applied in multiple projects for companies like Mercedes, FENDI, STRABAG, and others to improve the planning, design, construction, manufacturing, and communication process.
