RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN MULTISCALE AND MULTIPHYSICS MODELLING OF COMPLEX MATERIALS CISM course

23-27 June 2025

The advanced course on "Multiscale and Multiphysics Modeling of Complex Materials" explores cutting-edge approaches to understanding and predicting material behavior across multiple scales and physical processes. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of modeling techniques that integrate phenomena such as mechanical deformation, thermal and chemical effects, etc. The course emphasizes practical applications in fields ranging from structural engineering and geomechanics to other related disciplines, preparing participants to tackle complex material challenges in both research and industry. The lecturers are expert researchers in the field from various parts of the world.

The course will be held at the prestigious International Centre for Mechanical Sciences, CISM on 23-27 June 2025: https://cism.it/en/

All interested students and researchers to participate and to request further information if needed to prof. Patrizia Trovalusci (patrizia.trovalusci@uniroma1.it) .
