International Seminar on Metal Plasticity
The Faculty will host the International Seminar on Metal Plasticity on Monday 19 June 2017 in the "Sala del Chiostro" room.
The event is organized in collaboration with AIAS (Società Scientifica Italiana di Progettazione Meccanica e Costruzione di Macchine) and BSSM (The British Society for Strain Measurement).
The aim of the international seminar is to promote a platform for people working in the field of metal plasticity, to discuss the state-of-the-art, the current research and future developments. Moreover, the intent is to strengthen the cross-fertilization between theoretical material modelling, computational and experimental plasticity and the development of industrial applications.
The seminar is organized in a series of Lectures presented by well-known professors and experts working in the field of Plasticity.
In a (optional) second day a practical session on the implementation of numerical models into Finite Element codes is offered to the participants.
