Language tests for periods of study abroad

Sapienza has decided to offer all students the opportunity to take in advance the language tests required to participate in international mobility calls for European and non-European universities.

Below there is a summary of the time windows for taking the tests at the Laboratories of the University Language Center (CLA - Marco Polo Building, Floor 0, Circonvallazione Tiburtina n. 4). The tests are available for ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH, GERMAN, PORTUGUESE languages and will take place in presence. In order to enter the Building it will be necessary to show a valid identity document and the green pass.

Reservations through google form available at the link: https://web.uniroma1.it/cla/test-erasmus-plus-22-23

The student can choose date and time among the options in it, according to the following calendar:

  • November 22nd - 26th, 2021, with two shifts respectively at 10 am and 2 pm
  • January 17th - 21st, 2022, with two shifts respectively at 10 am and 2 pm
  • February 14th - 18th, 2022, with two shifts respectively at 10 am and 2 pm

ATTENTION: There are no recovery sessions beyond the dates indicated and each shift has limited places. It is advisable to book the test as soon as possible, using the dates and shifts available at the moment.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who already have a certificate issued by the CLA in the academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 for the languages to which the certificate refers, may NOT repeat the test.

Booking for the tests is to be considered confirmed only after receipt of the notification email on the institutional mailbox. It is possible to take the test for a maximum of two languages, necessarily on the same day, shift and time and it will be possible to take only one test for each language. The tests will be computer-delivered, level barrier and in multiple choice / cloze mode (no speaking - no listening).
The test starts from level A2 and, based on the score obtained, students can move on to the next levels (step by step) up to level C1. The test will last a maximum of 60 minutes (if all four levels are completed) and no online test simulations will be available. For test-related information, you can send an email to cla.erasmus-outgoing@uniroma1.it.
